COUNTRY HOUSE HÖPEN IN THE LÜNEBURG HEATH

Lüneburg Heath – that is an area of 230 sq. km of heath, moor and forests. Schneverdingen – small town with 19,000 inhabitants – is located in the triangle Hamburg – Hannover – Bremen and includes the northwestern part of the district Soltau-Fallingbostel.
More than 30% of the city area is located in the nature reserve Lüneburger Heide. The “Höpen” – mountain – is the protected landscape area bordering the city area to the north. Some of the most beautiful heathland can be found here.
The Hotel Landhaus Höpen is idyllically situated at the entrance to the Höpen. Nestled in a gently rolling landscape of heathland, forests and meadows. From here the view into the heath goes up to 30 kilometers – with the most beautiful sunsets this landscape has to offer.
